i recently experienced the same issue. it can be your tensioner pulley or your water pump see the belts are connected to the pulleys and sometimes get worn out and need to be replaced. especially on a older car see a mecanic

you are not allowed to fit your own towbar anywhere in europe now ,it can only be done by an authorised agent with the necessary rubber stamps

you should be able to google this and get a diagram on it from te internet, I hope.

They are fixed and require a kit to be installed to make them adjustable. Then you need a front end alignment machine to adjust all of it correctly
