The torque converter clutch circuit may be at fault. The best way to determine the problem is to have a scanner/computer to read check engine codes.

The service traction light is on what is it and how can you fix it

You would need to have the body computer scanned for trouble codes. The traction control prevents skids and slipping on wet roads.

What dose trac off mean

It means your traction control system is off.
If you are on a wet road for example and your wheels starts to slip, what traction control does if it is on, is to electronically slow down your wheels until you regain traction on the road again.

I LOSE CONTROL IN THE RAIN

Tires are very important. If they are worn to the safety bar or bald it is unsafe to use.

There are tires that just do not do well in wet conditions. But if no ABS or Traction control displays are lite you have to look elsewhere.

What is the T/C button for in the glove box of a 2003 CTS cadillac?

This button is for the traction control, when you push it it will say trac off or trac on . this will be displayed on the dash, this is for better traction on snow or wet roads and it keeps the wheels from spinning out, hope this helps, look in your manual under traction control, good luck.

On the dashboard a light is flashing showing a car with wiggly lines behind it,what does that mean

it's the traction control. Your manual has symbols and explanations regarding warning lights on dashboard. What it means is when you are driving and the road is wet or slippery, the traction control feature activates so you won't slip or hydroplane when you are stepping on the brakes. good luck ms pretty...

Traction control

Traction Control system adjusts your throttle and braking automatically to help keep your car from slipping on wet/snowy roads. If the light flashes momentarily then that means it is doing the job properly. If the light flashes constantly or stays on then it indicates a problem with the traction control or ABS system and could pose a safety concern.

traction control helps you keep better traction on wet roads and helps you maintain control of the car. no you dont have to have certain tires on the car for the traction control to work. it helps you drive better on wet roads and on snow etc.its built into alot of vehichles these days .
