Question about 2000 Lexus LX470

2000 lexus lx470 ride is still bouncy after replacing all four shocks

I had the local Firestone store replace all four shocks and I still have a bouncy ride. They say the shocks are working perfectly, don't know what is cause the bounce. I have found a reference to the rear height control sensor as maybe the problem. Ideas

SOURCE: replace side marker light on lexus rx300

Remove 3 - 4 screws on fender cover close to side marker light. Pull fender cover out a bit for you to use your other hand to reach side marker light. By twisting on one direction and here you go the light out. Replace new bulb and replace everything on reverse order.

1) If you bought 1 that is looks like this
It is the High beam lamp

HI....Your car have "STRUTS" all around on each wheel and they each require a very special tool(Spring Compressor) without this tool, you'll need to apply 2500lbs of force to compress the coil. In essence, it's not possible to perform this task without this tool.

SOURCE: ? to Replace Timing belt on 2000 Lexus Rx300 with 57,000 miles.

If it is running perfectly I wouldn't think that you would need to replace the timing belt. You shouldn't need to replace that until 100,000-120,000 miles. I would definitely hold off until now unless you have start having some timing problems. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for rating my response and for using FixYa!

I need new shocks on my 2001 LX470. The Toyata Dealership in Longview, TX has quoted me $1618 to replace the shocks. No one else will do it because the shocks have hydraulic fluid running through them. ...

take a look at for replacement suspension kits for that vehicle. it is going to be expensive to swap it in, but once you have that stuff taken out you won't have to fix it again and again and again.

bleed the hydrolic lines empty buy 2 can of hydrolic fluids from lexus i think one should do it dough but u can buy 2 just in case replace fluids and u should be fine if not you can check ure accumulators or the sensers that can cause a bouncy ride too

Had to replace "T" in air conditioning hose connections against firewall. Mechanical now says system has air in it and they are having a problem getting it out. Help

A/C's need re-pumping from time to time contact your local garage or auto spares shop who will be able to do it for you or provide you with the components needed to re-fill an A/C unit.

2000 GMC Jimmy 4 x4 ride has gotten very bouncy and loose around corners. I had 2 heavy duty shocks added last year, but still really bounces on bumps?

what about the other two shocks ??/ are tires over-inflated ? are there over 100,000 miles on it ? if high mileage check further into the suspension componets

I have a 2000 Lexus LX470 that is heating up. After having replaced and or serviced the entire cooling system I have concluded that the cooling fans are not staying on or coming on long enough to bring the...

the fan relays are inside the main engine compartment junction box. and the fan "switch" is a function the the engine computer. it looks at engine speed vehicle speed and coolant temperature to decide whether to turn the fans on or not. I doubt its the ecu, most likely the fan relays.just pull them out and put new ones in.

I have a 1987 944 and lately I it seems I feel road bumps more...

you can look at shocks if you see signs of oil leaks.replace them .if car bouncy bouncy replace them.if the road rough car going ride rough.
