Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Jeep Cherokee ECM

thers only one problem with replacing a computer on a newer model vehicle and that is when you get a computer sometimes you have to "flash" the computer to put in your vin numkber and other things. If you don't your vehicle won't start or it will start and immediately die. The only place I know of that can flash computers in the dealer. A computer for your vehicle is about $900 from the dealer and then you have to pay to have it flashed. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee only blows heat and ac out of dashboard

There is a vacuum leak under the hood. If it's a 6 cylinder, look on the drivers side for a vacuum line that runs vertical with a 90 degree angle fitting to the manifold. That one usually comes off. If it is a V8 look on the battery side for a broken or corroded vacuum line.

1995 jeep cherokee coolant line broke we fixed it

Take it back to the shop that fixed it or if you did it yourself, check that you didn't disconnect a sensor/plug from the transmission.

Will 95 jeep gc rearend work in 97?

As long as they are the same rearend and the same gears, yes. ie a 9.25 rear with 3.92 gears will not work where a Dana 44 with 3.55 gears was.
