Have it pressure tested by the dealer and look for the source of the leak.

SOURCE: 99 venture leaking antifreeze

Your leak is most likely the intake gaskets. These are a real common problem on these motors because they are plastic.check the mating surfaces between the heads and intake for signs of antifreeze. If it is the intake get it fixed right away or it can leak internally and cause bearing damage. Also use felpros metal gaskets.

Runs hot sometimes. Top radiator hose hot, bottom cold. What's wrong?

top hose should be hot, all water from engine goes through upper hose, then radiator to cool and out lower hose.

2001 montana is over heating and i replaced the radator and the thermasat and flushed it real good the water pump seems to be working

If the cooling fans are coming on and the upper and lower hoses are both hot than I am 99% positive you have bad head gaskets. It's not uncommon on the 3.4 liter engines. To confirm, with the engine cold remove the radiator cap. Start the engine and watch the coolant in the radiator. If you see a constant percolation of air bubbles coming out of the radiator that you more than likely have a bad head gasket(s).

2005 pontiac sv6 oil or antifreeze leaking on serpentine belt and spraying onto hood.

Check the seap hole at the bottom of the water pump for a leak. If that's where the leak is coming from the water pump will need to be replaced. Otherwise check all hoses and fittings for a leak.

Overheating pontiac montana shooting out cold air from heater

Get the radiator and heater core, hoses and thermostat replaced. Also replace the mixing valve if needed. A radiator shop could give you an estimate and diagnose the problem better than I can online. I hope sincerly that this helps.

Overheating. Pressure checked shows no leaks. Replaced radiator cap and relay. Still overheating.

first thing to check is to make sure that your antifreeze to water ratio is the correct mix. also check to make sure that your thermostat is good and working properly ( opening at the right temp ).
could also be a bad water pump or a slipping water pump belt.

2003 ponitac montana... Not holding

need to perform a coolant pressure test. fill the reservoir and after the engine cools down fill the radiator, next start the engine and wait till the coolant system builds pressure then turn off the engine and using a mirror and flash light look for a leak.check water pump, hoses, radiator tanks for cracks, intake gasket at the corners espesically at the back next to the trans.also pull the carpet back and check for coolant leaking from the heater core, and last remove the sparkplugs and check for leaking head gaskets.hope this helped.

2001 pontiac montana overheating no warm air when heat is on

Might be a weak or failing water pump... Does it leak antifreeze or do you have to add antifreeze very often? When the engine gets to operating temperature squeeze the top radiator hose and see if you can feel pressure from the water pump forcing water through it.
