Question about 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport
In the middle of the night the alarm goes off. typically when its cold outside. Not really sure if its the alarm or the horn but the people in my complex are ready to linch me. The only way to solve the problem is to disconnect the battery and when I return later after finishing my sleep I reconnect the battery and everything runs great. I have tryed to shut it off but the red button on the remote and nothing. I have tryed to open the door and still nothing. I have looked for the relay and can't find that either. where do I go from here? I brought it to the dealer and they can't figure it out.

OK. Went through this just now. It's in the owners manual page 2-7.
1. Press the LOCK button on the remote for 4 to 10 seconds and press the UNLOCK button during this time.
2. Release the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons at the same time.
This is done without the key in the ignition.
