If it drives smooth and no shudder noise, it's fine. Honestly, I would re-drain and replace it with the correct fluid. Here's a good website.

The new MOPAR ATF+4 will work fine and is far superior to the original fluid installed in the transmission.

Mazda rx8 05. Skiping gears in auto mode no warning codes .put trans fluid was low

If the fluid was low, you have a leak &
more than likely have done some internal
damage to the trans

May have to be rebuilt

I want to add a quart of LUCAS synthetic tranny fluid, into my 2000 Alero, would that hurt.

I wouldn't put anything in your trans but the correct fluid

If you want to believe all the advertizing & other advice,
go ahead

I once owned a trans repair shop & never used any
of those products.
Obviously there was a reason

Just like putting injector cleaner in your gas tank
12 oz in 18 gallons of fuel, Won't do a thing

You WILL NOT FIX ANY trans problems changing
fluid or adding anything. Simple won't work.

Fluids are for heat removal,so how would they do
anything else?

Does the manual transmission 2006 XB really not have a dip stick to check the fluid? If that is so what is easiest way to check the fluid ??

on a manual trans there is no dipstick, there will be a plug on the side to check level, remove the plus and the level should just be below the hole, of course the vehicle should be level so a hoist is necessary

On my '05 VW JETTA, there is transmission fluid pouring from a tube that was connected to a plastic ball type deal ( I believe it had pressure vault on it or something like that) but popped of this...

Yes, add more fluid, but at the trans dipstick tube where you check it. I'd find out why that line popped off before it happens again and ruins a costly transmission.

What kind of brake fluid do i use for a toyota scion xb 2005

Dot 3 fluid is the factory type, Dot 4 may be used too. The difference is in the boiling point Dot 4 is higher quality, and your brakes will work better if they get super hot with Dot 4, you can mix the two types they are compatible with each other. If you mix 3 and 4 you wont get the full advantages of the Dot 4, but it will improve fluid in the system.

Where can i find a repair manual for a 05 scion xb?

Unfortunately neither Chilton's or Haynes has put out a manual yet for the xb's. Your best bet is to look online for a shop manual for them. There are two available, one is electrical, one is general, and they will run you about $60-$100 if you can find one.

Does my stock pioneer stereo in my 05 xb have an ipod adapter

No i have pulled out the stereo myself and there is no port for it, that option is now offered on the 2008 which sucks because they where giving ipods away at the dealership when i got my 05 Scion xb makes no sense huh.

Refill trans fluid KC Laser 05/87

Top up for the auto trans is usally through the dipstic hole as for how much to put in markings are on the the dipstick with markings for hot and cold depending on weather the car has been used or not and check with manfacturer as to what type to put in, as for not going in to gear or changeing gear, it probably needs the auto trans serviced or it could be on its way out.The starting problem could be to do with engine starter itself and it may need replaceing.
