SOURCE: I have codes 1529

Hello Mps.
The sensors are usually mounted close to the output shaft on the left side of the transmission.
If you have the new one and the plug is the same as the one you see it will be the correct one to replace.
If the wiring is good the only cure for a purge valve problem is to replace it.
This valve is mounted on the engine near the center rear.
Here is a diagram, hope you can see it OK.

SOURCE: purge valve

Against the middle of the firewall in the engine compartment. If you are looking at the engine, its behind the surge tank of the intake manifold. Has one vacuum hose going to intake manifold and one going to EVAP canister in the center of the truck, and one 2 terminal electrical connector.

2004 Hyundai Santa Fe stalls everytime you put gas in it. You have to wait approximately 5 minutes, then it will start. Doesn't stall any other time. What could possibly cause this?

Did some research and found quite a few people with the same problem. All solutions were the same. Replace the Purge Control Valve, Hyundai part number 28910-22040. It is covered under warranty.

I have a 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe . on vehicle inspection they got a code P0444 and a P0112. any suggestions on what to change to get it to pass?? thanks

Parts: I assume you have the 2.7 litre engine
I priced the parts at this website: https://www.shophyundaiparts.com/hyundai-santa-fe-parts.html

Santa Fe , Air intake temp sensor, 2.7l $11.28
Santa Fe , Purge valve - 2.7 l $27.56

The air temp sensor is behind the intake surge tank. I do not have a picture of the sensor by itself.

The purge valve is under the car by the driveshaft and looks like this

I do not have specific instructions for replacing these parts, but I think the temperature sensor unscrews. You may want to use a little teflon tape on the new sensor to seal the threads.

For the purge sensor, remove the vapor hoses and unclamp it from the bracket.

For each sensor, the connector will have a tab you have to press to get the connector off of the part.

Let me know if you get stuck or have more questions.

'02 Santa Fe V6 awd, Upon start up after a refuel you have to keep the revs up or it will stall, after that it starts fine. Also after running the a/c it doesn't want to shut off, turn the key back on and off...

One problem at a time please. No. 1!. Your description points to a faulty Purge Control Solenoid Valve (related to engine stall after refuel). The second problem could be caused by 'hot spots' in the combustion chamber -- however, the only way for any fuel to enter the combustion chamber after the KEY is turned OFF, is through the Purge Contro Solenoid Valve - it's the only component directly related to the problem you describe (unless you (or someone else) has modified the engine in some way other than original manufacture's design. Solution (provided no modifications have been performed), replace the Purge Control Solenoid Valve.

By the intake manifold, what size engine do you have?

2003 santa fe

It needs a new pruge valve. The purge valve is sticking open allowing fuel vapors into the intake manifold causing a rich hard start condition.
