Question about BMW 528
Well if the car is actually cranking but just not firing up usually the dme and the ews needs to be "mated" or "synced" together again. The ews is the immobilizer and it has "rolling codes" that have to matched when starting with the last code that is in the dme memory of when the car was last started. Take it to BMW and have them to sync them. Car will start right up.
PS...also check your CRANKshaft sensor as well. It provides a pulse to the ignition coils to fire also.
