Your ignition lock probably has sticky pin inside of tumbler.
Try spraying some WD40 or PB Blast into the key cylinder.

SOURCE: car won't start when it's hot outside

My daughter's 1991 Honda Accord did the same thing. I discovered that the main relay had to be replaced. Apparently the solder used in the original main relay was poor and would actually "soften" in the heat and cause a disconnection. When the cabin temperature dropped, the solder would cool and reconnect. Anyway, replacing the main relay worked. My daughter's car has not had this problem since.

Check the battery and the Alternator. Sometimes with these Saabs, when the alternator or the battery start to go bad, you will have many different symptoms all to do with just one issue. You can remove the battery and the alternator, take it to a parts store and they do free testing on those and they can tell you if either is bad or not. The Alternator needs to be out of the vehicle to be tested.

02 bonneville transmission slips to false nuetral after warmed up. Shut car off for a minute will drive again for a short time. ?????

Your transmission is probably going into "limp" mode. This happens when the car's computer senses something wrong that is potentially very bad. It is your cars way of telling you to take it to the dealer so they can read the error codes in your computer.

When do I nedd to get a tune up?

Good rule of thumb is go in for Oil maintenance and a look over for any other issues every 3000 miles or 3 months which ever is first. I just like to do this every Spring and Late fall personally kind of a pre and post winter maintenance. Also just feel and listen to your car and be prompt when it starts acting funny to get it looked at.

Management Light and Automatic Transmission Fault Indicator

you may be having actual trans. problems. You said saab replaced selector switch on trans? Do you know when the last time the trans was serviced? Sometimes flushing trans will help if it has not been too long.. I recommend flushing the trans every 30k, if it has never been done and you have 90-120k you may need a new transmission.
