SOURCE: Replacing head gasket on 1995 honda civic, require torque specs and secquence

wow. a lot of bad information on this site. Refer to a manual for the proper torque sequence. The civic I believe is a two step torque procedure. First 22 ft lbs, than 53 ft lbs.

SOURCE: head bolts torque settings

According to my haynes manual for G-S reg, 1989-1998 it goes as follows,
Stage 1:- Tighten all bolts by hand until bolt heads just contact cyl. head.
Stage 2:-Tighten all bolts to 40Nm or 30lb ft.
Stage 3:-Angle tighten all bolts a further 60 degrees.
Stage 4:-Angle tighten all bolts again a further 60 degrees.
Stage 5:- M12 x 140mm bolts ONLY angle tighten a further 20 degrees.
Hope this helps everyone, sorry it seems longwinded but that is how it's written in the manual.

2004 nissan pulsar st ckp sensor

very common for the N16 pulsars to log this code, this is a crank position sensor fault. 99% of the time is the cam and crank sensors. best to replace them both as a pair, Nissan actually sell them as a pair for this issue, non genuine ones are very un reliable and not much cheeper anyways. the cam sensor is in the back side of the head above the bell housing of gearbox and the crank sensor is in the bottom of the engine block at the gearbox end facing the firewall.
the other 1% is streatched orout of timed timing chains, but normally just the sensors will fix it.

Only right side reverse light does not work.

There is not any left or right reverse Light switch. It is only one switch for reversing light and it is fitted on the Transmission. If you do have the one working and the other not, first check the bulb if is ok,if not change it. If the bulbs are ok, check for any broken wiring.

N16 pulsar 1600 engine normal vac reading on start, falls rapidly to 5-10" of mercury

possible intake manifold leak, check bolt torque, warps and leaks as engine warms up,spray starting fluid around the edges while idleing,if engine rpms shoot up replace intake gasket, also vaccum booster on brakes, diaphram may be ruptured, listen down by foot pedal, when you press down you will hear it hissing, and of course all vaccum lines and connections, hope this helps, good kuck ,aloha from maui todd0708
