i have a Chevrolet Suburban 97 that whil i was driving it, died! and i hear a wierd sound when i try to start .i think my fuel pump needs to be changed.since i am cluless about cars ,i need a detaled,step by step guid on how to replace the fuel pump.thank you so much.

your fuel pump is probably fine. what makes you think that the pump is bad? what kind of sound do you hear when you try to start? click? this is probably a dead battery or bad electrical connection somewhere. how about a little more info, dude?
