My 91 s10 4x4 4.3 turns over no start has spark good fuel presure but no fuel coming out of injectors pore case down carb.wants to run. Had bad i.c.m. but replaced with good one .and new computer

If voltage to fuel injectors but no ground, have to check ignition module. The purple wire with white tracer carries rpm signal from distributor to computer, engine cranking, dc pulse on that wire, if nothing, check ignition module. W/o rpm signal, the computer won't ground fuel injectors.

The rev counter in my 2000 corolla is reading incorrectly

Macsry2k answer makes the the most trouble shooting sense. Problem is definitely electric. Since the alternator is where the RPM reading comes from, this is the best place to start. Good luck!

Limiting rpm when driving no more then 4000rpm

there is fuel system cut off. the ECM think that the rpm is higher than what it should be, have a scan data read to see if ECM read different rpm of rpm gauge. rpm reading come from ignition module and crank sensor

1998 jaguar xj8l, it wont start, i can hear the fuelpump come on but also hear gas pouring back into the tank, is this normal or has my fuel line come loose?

Have verified the injectors are energized and if the ignition coils are firing the spark plugs. Do your rpm indicator show the engine is turning and sending a signal to the rpm gauge.

1993 Ford Mustang LX 2.3L 38,000 miles automatic Car takes a few seconds to start when turning the ignition When it does start is stutters a second then returns to idle When just started car hesitates...

Try getting the codes pulled at a car parts shop. Usually the computer will keep it in its history. It sounds like it is an ignition problem. If there is no stored code I would look at things in this order: spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor/coil. If none of these seem to be the problem you may have to take it to a shop. If it was just the start and idle problem I would say it is something with what I said but that high RPM thing seems strange.
