Suzuki Forenza 2008 Power Door Lock Not Working, I can press it but nothing happened.

if the fuse is good, it can only be 32 things.
the switch to lock it. or the wires to the lock solenoid or the solenoid.
you can find the cause 2 ways,
hotwiring it.
or using a voltmeter.
ill assume you never seen a VM.
jumper the switch, does it solenoid work now?
yes,bad switch,
jumper the solenoid,, work now?
yes, bad wires.
no, bad solenoid.
with meter you can trace the voltage to the solenoid and find the fail point in under 5min, door card off.
i just replaced my solenoid last week, $100 just for the silly part.
im a retired, mech. (electrics, specialist)

Suzuki wagon r problems

check for a shorted curcuit between power wires, see if it has a wiper relay that may be bad, or switch may be bad

1996 suzuki sidekick, power windows and door locks do not operate BUT doors will lock with remote. what could cause this, where do i look??

Your actual switches may have gotten wet, or have gone bad. You will need a jumper wire to test the switches. Remove the switch for each window and lock. Using the jumper wire, see if the each window will go up and down by jumping out each set of contacts. (Make the jumper take the place of the switch) Replace any window or lock switch that operates using the jumper, but doesn't work with the switch.

The engine shuts off when I turn on the A/C.

the AC compressor was starting to wear (noise)
now it has completely seized which kills your engine when the AC is turned on.. those AC compressors are known to be junk.. mine went out as well

I think my power steering pump has seized, the pulley does not rotate. Can i do anything to rectify the problem myself......there is a sqeaking noise when i turn the ignition on and have to turn off again...

Make sure the engine is cold

Take the belt off (if it not already off already)

Turn it in both directions.

Power steering AND/OR power steering rack can fail.

I will check for leaks on the rack first.

A bad/failing rack can dislodge metal partials.

The pump circulate these metals and jam the pump.

Please do not rule out the rack.

When you change the pump....make sure you blow out the rack and check for metal partials.

Hi I am Vortash the battery light is an indicator to if the Alternator is charging or not .. if the light is on it is saying that it isn't , check the plug and wire connections to the alternator check your earth strap from your negative side of the battery to earth or if it is a continental positive earth car check the + side is attched to the earth securely and cleanly .. check the output from the alternator you should be gettinfg approx 13.5 to 14 .5 volts DC if not switch to ac if you get a reading the rectifier has gone and will need replacing ..( most of the modern alternators come with new brushes attached to a rectifier as a single module ) Check the fan belt tension slipping belt can cause bad charge rate and bring the light on .if you are finding the car is becoming difficult to start the battery going low the fault is realy dead to rights a charging fault.. Hope this helps Vortash
