There is a relay on the rh passenger side kick panel above the automatic transmission module that is controlled by the ECU through the MAF sensor that controls your fuel to the engine so the air / fuel mixture is correct. I fixed a pathfinder one time with a similar stalling problem.

Cut off for what? They do have an inertia switch for fuel. All vehicles do. For accidents. Have the codes read.

Where is the emergency inertia fuel switch located on a 2002 Nissan Sentra L.E. 2.5L


Nissan doesn't use this switch, that is Ford and Mazda. They use a Fuel pump opening relay. See picture. it will be under the hood in most Nissan's

if you are referring to the fuel inertia switch there is not one. FORD is the only manufacturer that uses a resetable inertia switch for the fuel pump.

Were is the inertia switch located on a 91 pathfinder. and how do you reset it


91 .thats old ,on older cars look in the back as some were in the trunk or boot ,other could be in the centre door pilar ,like some old jags but the most obvious is under the bonnet sorry hood ,some older cars they also fitted them in the front panel footwell ,either side ? or just ask ther nissan garage ,sorry or were they called datsun back then

The inertia switch is located behind the rear passenger door and in front of the rear wheel on the inside of the inner body panel...next to the auto trans computer and audio amp.

No fire to spark plug since minor damage to rear end


There is a fuel system inertia switch which shuts down the car in an accident so as to not feed a potential fire. The switch is located on the driver side next to the firewall.
