Have a Code P1811 on my 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix. The only thing I have noticed is it gets warm very fast. Haven't noticed any slippage with the tranny...What do I do??

Had the same exact type of problem. Sometimes the transmission would **** or jump when the car shifted gears and sometimes it would not. Drained the transmission fluid and replaced the filter. Did not fix the problem.
Here is what fixed my problem. I replaced the Mass Air Flow Sensor. It cost about $150.00. From what I was able to find out the mass air flow sensor is tied into the PCM module that tells the car when to shift.
Hope this if helpful.
