Check that the fan belt is in good condition and tensioned properly. I am suspecting that there will not be much there.

SOURCE: camry headlights not working

Have you checked out the switch itself? Seems like the problem might be there.
If the lamp bulbs are sill intact, that's probably the most likely solution. There's a possibility you have a short somewhere in the switch relay that will allow the highlights to turn on but not the low beams.

Without testing it personally, I would do the following:
a. Re-Test the Pressure of the Fuel Pump with a Gauge (Must be 40 PSI or higher).
b. Tapping it tells me there is either a BAD FUEL PUMP or a loose electrical connector
c. Does it start if you spray Starting Fluid into the Intake?

If it does not start with the Starting Fluid, I would attach a NOIDS LIGHT to see if there is a signal getting to the Fuel Injectors

Picture of battery lights up on dash panel, car starts and runs, coolants/fluids are fine

Your alternator is likely bad. Start the car, disconnect the battery, if it stops you need a new one - or head down to the parts store to ask them to test it on the car for you.

Hope this helps.

The truck stays on as long as i'm driving but whn i come to a stop or slow down it dies and i have to restart it. I thought maybe the alternator, would that be right? Also the lights start on the dash fade...

My truck is manual and is idling rough at low rpms, it kinda surges and rpm starts to drop like between 500 and 900 rpm as well.

I have trouble starting it and stalls on me.

I have changed the alternator, starter, battery, battery cables, rotor, distributor cap, spark plug wires, spark plugs.

As for the dash light going out, mine does that too but on the left side (gas gauge side), I just usually apply a firm tap on the left side of the black part of the panel and it turns on.

disconnect the neg batt cable and bridge it with a test light, it should light up and dim after a few seconds, if it stays bright you have a short in one or more circuits, pull each fuse one at a time to see if you can locate which circuit, good luck

1997 toyota 4-runner, My battery dash light is on. The battery is good.

The battery light on at the dash indicates a problem internal in the alternator. Normally, when the alternator is producing sufficient voltage (14.4 VDC), the light stays off. When the alternator is NOT producing sufficient voltage, the light comes on. Check the voltage at the battery with a voltmenter with the engine running. If you have less than 12 volts, you both need an alternator.
