Question about Cars & Trucks
All of my 2005 Chevy Trailblazer's speakers except the right/front speaker do not have any sound. The right/front only plays treble I seen on another discussion forum that several trailblazers speakers stop working. They said it's because of bad weather striping another says it is b/c the factory system is a POS and lastly someone said it could be that the amp burned them up. I replaced the factory receiver and it still doesn't play what could be the cause?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: rear speakers stopped working
my speakers went out front and rear i was told by an audio tech. that the systems that chevrolet put in them each speaker has its own amp to bust the sound the only way to fix it is to replace them.
if you have a warranty chevrolet will replace them otherwise find a junk yard or new system. i ordered a set of used speakers off ebay havent installed yet.

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. I don't know what speaker you'll actually need.
