look to the right side of the oil dipstick way down low, really way down low. You'll need a flashlight. You can plan on getting your arm dirty when you twist your arm to get down in there. Do this when the engine is cool or you're likely to burn your forearm.
The dipstick is a small (about 6") length of plastic that must be seated back properly

I just did the same thing, I had to remove the air box to get to the reverse switch on the transaxle. I removed the switch and filled the fuild there.

there will be a fill plug on the trans near the axle on the drivers side. remove the plug and put your finger in the hole, if you get oil on your finger, youre good.
