Hello , check the door open actuator . This is the " button " looking switch on the door jamb . It maybe on the hindge side or the latch side. It may be shorted.

you have a bad dimmer switch or door jamb switch I would start by disconnecting the door switches 1st for they are the easiest to do. when the light goes off you will know which is a fault

SOURCE: In my 2005 Chevy Tahoe
The latch that closes the glass contains the switch.
Push the latch to the closed position.
This should turn out the light.
Or if you have the piece of latch from the glass, click it into place where it would normally be.

SOURCE: How do you change the
daytime running lights work through a relay module that change the power to the high beam lights which act as the day time running lights.why would you want to remove this system if you could as it doesn`t affect anything other than this system.plus if your in Canada you can get a ticket for them not working as this is a safety related system.
