Where is the egr valve on my citroen xsara picasso and how do i clean it

at the side of the engine and held in place with few torx screws
take it off clean in with brake cleaner and make sure you take out all the cabon built up in it and dont forget the gasket.

Can brakes stop workin if pvc valve is bad

not normally however they both are attached to the vacuum system , the brakes have a booster which is run off the manifold vacuum, and so is the PVC valve,, I would check for any vacuum leaks in the system, and replace the PVC valve,, they are cheap

I am having trouble bleeding the brakes on 1993 GMC Sierra. i can't find the compensator valve.

you can also bleed it right at the brake reservoir theres a bleeder valve there

While replacing a break pipe on 95 renault espace 2.1 TD rear offside between flexhose and the load compensator.I had to apply heat to the load compensator to release brake pipe.I replaced the pipe but...

yes there are seals inside the valve . its an easy part to replace but it has to be taken to renault to have the load spring reset to the correct pressure after refitting

Peugeot 405 rear brake compensator problem

i have just recently spoken to a peugeot main dealer about my compensator, there should be a spring which attaches to the trailing arm, these springs rot for a pass time and you cant get replacements, you will need new valve. i was qouted £98.
