The sensor is a part of the valve stem. It is a radio..powered by a battery. The battery may be dead, requiring a new sensor. Also possible that your tires have been rotated and the shop did not reprogram each sensor to the proper wheel position. Check your other tires first, then go to a shop that can test that all sensors are functioning properly.

SOURCE: check tire pressure light reset, 1999 Grand AM

Pop the fuse panel cover off the driver side fuse box, you have to open the door to get to it. With the key in the ignition and in the "ON" position, hold down the button in the fuse box that says "reset". The Tire Pressure or Oil Change light will start to blink, let go and push it one more time and the light will go off.

SOURCE: how do i reset the tire pressure warning on a 2008 kia spectra

Your tire pressure is monitored by a device known as a TPMS sensor.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System is an integral part of your tire that tends to wear with age.

You need to take your vehicle to a reliable shop (I recommend Discount Tire) to have the TPMS sensor in the defective tire replaced. It's simple, and inexpensive.

I have used Discount Tire's services for almost 20 years, and have never been disappointed with their service.

Yellow light on dash panel...looks like exclamation mark in circle. That blinks..what does this mean

Some cars have tire pressure sensors that can cause an indicator with an exclamation point to appear on the instrument panel.

Check the pressure in all of your tires.

Your car manual (probably crammed into your glove box somewhere) will have a diagram of all the instrument panel lights and a brief description of what they all mean.

Buick rendezvous low tire pressure light

After checking/adjusting all tire's pressure (including spare, some spares have a tire pressure sending unit), turn ignition "ON" (NOT "START", just the position key is at when you are driving).
Press the MODE button until LOW TIRE PRESSURE HOLD SET TO RESET is displayed.
Press and hold the SET button until a chime sounds and TIRE PRESSURE RESET is displayed and a chime sounds 3 times.
Release the SET button and TIRE PRESSURE NORMAL is displayed.

What does the yellow tire light mean on the instrument panel?

it means your tire pressure is below recomended pressure parramiters.
This system also moiters the spare!! so check it too!

Unless you had someone change the tires on the vehicle... and they broke off the tire pressure monitor... ( cost about $90 each!)

Hi...2008 gmc sierra crew...check engine light came on thought maybe was standard just before hitting 30,000 then noticed low oil pressure ( 20 ) then noticed clacking noise?

Sounds like an oil pressure problem. The clacking sound is most likely the lifters are collapsing due to loss of oil pressure. You may have a failing oil pump.

How to reset "Low Tire Pressure Mesasage" on 2008 GMC Envoy

It should reset by itself after you resolve the low pressure problem and drive it a bit. The sensor will usually reset within 24 hours if the vehicle is driven a couple of times. If it does not reset, the sensor could be damaged or defective.

First try rotating the tires to the rear. Does it go away? If you apply the brakes does it pull to the left? Could be a draging caliper or the slides may be hanging up.
