Appears I have a failing fuel pump check valve. Fuel pressure tested at a test port between the pump and the fuel filter jumps to 43 psi or so with key on and then quickly drops. Pressure tested at the fuel rail is 13 psi. Plan to replace filter, but is it possible to replace just the check valve on an in tank pump, or must I buy the whole (expensive) pump?

fuel pump check valve doesn't cause pressure loss, just hard starting cold, the check valve is part of the fuel pump, so to replace the valve u must replace the pump. do not use anything but the orig style pump, here is the part number from THE OE PUMP MAKER AT www.rockauto.com
