Tire has to be dismounted. Sensor is either a part of the valve stem, or on a metal band wrapped around the wheel inside the tire.

When buying a new tire monitor for this rav4m does it have to be programed or does it come ready to install ?

The sensors are wireless and usually do have to be registered to the vehicle. A dealership can do this for you and in some cases, tire shops as well.

Reset tire pressure warning light on

The thing is you can take of the sensor off they have a sensor on all the tires even the spare and If you won to take it off you look at the tire and behind the tire is a box and when you open that box there is a fuse inside of it you take the fuse out and that will make the sensor quit but you would need to do it for all the tires even the spare

Not sure what "exp 18" means...but the Low Tire Pressure or tire pressure monitoring on the Aurora is done via the wheel speed sensors. Anytime you fill or add air to the tire you will need to reset the tire pressure monitoring - not just the current indicator, but go to gage->tire pressure and reset.
If any of the wheel speed sensors are having issue, this can effect the reporting to the tire pressure monitoring. If you have an ODB-II scanner that can read ABS codes this is very helpful as it will tell you exactly which sensors are having problems.

I had a flat tire. i put on the spare and gotten all my tires change to new tires, but the tire pressure light is still on. and if i was to speed up the light in my car will pop on, so i had to buy some...

Sounds like they broke your Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor.

I know you have a Suzuki, but read this forum thread and I believe you will find it very enlightening and close to your specific situation... It sounds like you need to have a talk with the service manager where you got your tires put on.

Exclamation yellow light on dash...Jeep G.C. 2005

It sounds like the light to the tire pressure monitoring system, make sure non of your tires are low. My light has come on before and a tire was low. A buddy of mine has the same truck and when he had his tires replaced the shop broke two of his sensors which are on the valve stems of the wheel. The sensors are about $50.00 a piece.

Just got new tires on our 2007 jetta and the tire

you will need to go to the place and have the scan the tire monitor computer to see what codes you have. they may have broke one or more of the sensors in the tire that are very expensive. if they don't have the correct machine/scanner then you will need to find a shop that does and you will no more then

Check the spare tire pressure and make sure it's 32 PSI.

Fix-A-Flat emergency air can will destroy the first generation sensor.

Tire shop will has Tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) reset hand held unit to reset the monitoring system.

I just had new tires put on my 2006 Toyota Corrola and the tire pressure indicator light keeps coming on. Is that normal?

no its not normal. sometimes the sensors can be damaged if tires are not mounted correctly. Also they (the tire place) should have retrained the sensor locations to the TPMS unit in the vehicle. take it back and tell them why your back and have them use a TPMS scan tool( tire pressure monitor system) and check the tire sensors. and do not forget the spare as some cars have a sensor in the spare tire also.

chevrolet usually resets itself after the problem is fixed. unless it is a bad sensor on one of the wheels. also check the spare some spares have a monitor in them.

2002 Escclade and that display reads "service tire monitor"

You can see if the dealer can turn the tire monitor system off, but that would be your only hope, or ignore it like everyone else does.
