Tighten it up with a wrench or replace the line altogether. Use some threadtape to seal the threads.

SOURCE: my 2002 chevy impala is leaking transmission fluid

The line could need to be tightened. Tighten it with a 1/2" line wrench.(I think thats the right size for your car) Then check the trans fluid level to be sure its at the right level.

SOURCE: My Chevy 2002 Tahoe is leaking oil. They told me

this truck is equipped with an aluminum oil pan you could have 1 or several things going on... a stripped drain plug which is causing it to leak or it may be a leaking front seal or a rear main seal. If it is a front seal it is not to labor intensive. But if it is a rear main seal leaking it will require the transmission to be removed since the seal is a 1 piece rear main

1999 Mazda protege has a oily leak just under the radiator what could it be

If the oil you are referring to is pink or red, then it is your transmission fluid. If this is the oil type then I would check the upper and lower tansmissions lines that are routed into your radiator. The purposem of these lines is to cool the transmission fluid. Please see the attached for additional help:

99 suburban leaking from oil cooler fitting on radiator

It sounds like you might have a crack in the plastic tank of the radiator. If the line was leaking, I would think you'd see some oil leaking. Any anti-freeze leaking? When the truck is cooled down, I'd check the anti-freeze and oil level.

Oil Lead after new radiator and upper hose installation

It sounds like one of the transmission cooling lines is leaking, where they attach to the radiator. There may be a rusty section that was 'bumped' while the hoses were being replaced, causing it to leak. If the section that is leaking is not the fitting at the radiator, but a bit away from it, you can cut the section of tubing at the leak, purchase and slip a section of rubber fuel line over the bad area, clamp both ends with small clamps. Make sure the tranny fluid is at the proper level, don't drive it low.

1999 Chevy Venture Problems

you have 4 water lines, they are 2 radiator hoses (top and bottom) the bottom one runs from the lower part of the radiator to the water pump, the top radiator hose runs from the upper part of the radiator to the thermostat housing

2 heater hoses, they go from the water pump to the firewall.

if you know which one has a hole then you should take the van to a parts store (if you can safely drive it that far) and show them, they can get the right one for you... and sometimes you can talk someone into putting it on for you.

as for the fluctuating gauges you probably need new sending units for the temp gauge and fuel gauge
