SOURCE: cooling fan fuse
most likely the cooling fan has a short in it. disconnect the connector on the fan. If it doesn't blow now its the fan motor. If it still blows you have a short from the fuse to the motor. What this means is the hot wire is touching bare metal somewhere

I am not up on those trouble lights but I have been told that if you remove the negative battery cable termanal and turn on your headlights after the cable is removed and let it sit for 1/2 an hour that it will re-set the computer back to default settings. The lights are turned on to drain any reserve power that is stored. It can't hurt to try it and see what happens. I hope this helps, The Raz

WHAT IT MEANS YOUR FAN CONTROL RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT IS OPEN OR SHORTED TO GROUND. FAN CONTROL RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT IS SHORTED TO SYSTEM POWER. THE FAN CONTROL RELAY POWER CIRCUIT IS OPEN CHECK COOL FAN 1 FUSE. FAN CONTROL RELAY IS DAMAGED OR HAS FAILED. PCM HAS FAILED.I LISTED ALL POSSIBLE CAUSES TO CODE PO480.
