Sounds like a bad earth to the body of the car or try the engine earth best way to check for a bad earth is get a jump lead and put it from your negative post on your battery and attach the other end to a good earth on the engine and see if the problem goes away

SOURCE: opel corsa 1.2 easytronic 2007 car starts roaring at a full stop

The Engine and Automatic Transmission (not applicable to manual transmissions) in this vehicles drive train are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM and TCM (Power Train Control Module, Transmission Control Module). When a problem like this or other drive-ability related problems occurs the computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. Also always check fuel pressure for correct spec for your make and engine type.

I tried to install additional lighting in Corsa Utility but i think something fused coz now the light doesnt work at all. Any advice on the problem?

you may have over loaded the light control unit. it cuts out the lights to the hole car when there has been a fault. the lighting on the system only go's to max 25w per load wire. except main lights as this is set to 75-110wat max. putting any other lights on the car you need to use min line from battery and a relay to the line you are wanting to use for lights. then you will not over load the light control unit.

My 2004 model opel corsa is giving only 5 km millage after a service, and the grage people couldnot rectify the problam

the only thing i could say is there has been an electrical fault. this works sometimes. take the battery off. ignition to number 2 then turn off and remove the negative off the battery with in 30 seconds. do it this way. charge the battery up on home charger till full. or leave off the car for 6 hrs. then put the battery back on. live terminal first then negative. not other way round.... see if this sorts it out. make sure you take the battery off this way every time you need to.

Opel Corsa - 1.6 - Sail - delayed start

could be a blocked air vacuum line you should see a thin air line coming from the intake and go to the cam cover top check this line as they do block up after awhile and it will cause this problem. also if this is blocked you need to clean out the intake top as this is were it clogging up as well.
