Bummer deal! Do you notice a film on your inside windshield, also? If so, acid from anti-freeze going acidic ate a hole in the heater, which is hidden just above the passenger floorboard. Some people pay several hundred dollars to a $1000 to replace it. Its a h---- of a job. My method is to neutralize the cooling system to rid it of acids - as they als0 play h--- with engine manifold gaskets [1500 to fix]. Here's a web site that gives the tips and exact product you need to neutralize and stop the leak -in a bout 15 minutes for way cheap.

This means your air conditioner drain tube is clogged. This will take about a hour shop rate to repair or if you look behind the glovebox you will see it. Thanks

SOURCE: rain water leak

http://www.dodgedakotas.com/boards/dea/524.html

DodgeDakotas dot com has a lot of postngs about water under the Dakota's passenger side carpeting. My own 2005 is leaking, too. Main culprits to check: AC drain tube @ firewall (I think that some Dakotas had to have a 90-degree tube added to the outside end so that water wouldn't blow back into the cab. Great desing, Dodge. Rear window seal; Along the right-side window/roof pillar; the gromment in the passenger side door for a wire pathway. Sounds like some get this fixed under warranty - others meet w. resistance. Good Luck!

How to fix air conditioner cloggage on a 1992 caprice classic???

There is a rubber elbow coming out of the front of the firewall close to the floor. This is where the water is supposed to drain from. Use a pipe cleaner to snake into the heater box before you disassemble anything.

I have a 1992 Honda Accord and whenever it rains, water leak through the speaker on the passenger side door and make a big puddle on the floor. Also the water leaks into a hole in the floor by the ECU

Not comming from the speaker! Make sure that the rubber door trim aound the door is intact and not damaged. Additionally, check the rubber seal on the outside of the window where it retracts into the door. These are the only 2 ways that water can enter through the passenger door.

My 2001 chevy camaro has a leak on the passenger side floor board. It seems to be more prominent in the back floor board than the front. What could be the problem?

If its getting soaked by water even when u re sure u didn't drive through any water. It might be ur AC water outlet hose. It needs to be redirected

Water on passenger side floor no idea were come from

if it is water, then your A/C condensation drain is plugged. go to an oil change place or a muffler shop where they have a lift and a little free time and pay them a few bucks to stick a long pipe cleaner in it and open the drain.

if it is green and slippery, then it is antifreeze and you have a leaking heater core. this is going to be much more to fix and you need a garage mechanic.

Getting water in front passenger floor boaed, what might cause it?

Clogged or disconnected drain hose from the heater core box. Or bad/leaking heater core. Does the liquid smell like coolant. If so bad heater core. If not and the water only when you use the AC then it is a drain hose issue. If neither of those pan out you could have a leaky windshield. However 99% of the time a wet passenger floor is caused by a bad heater core or drain hose.
