Question about Hyundai Motor 2002 Sonata
Go to nearest Advance Auto Parts, or Autozone or Oreilly Auto and have them read the codes from your Hyundai. Take a notepad and pencil with you, jot down the codes they read off and ask questions, like "what could that mean"? or "how hard is that to change"? or "can you change that for me or recommend someone who will"? May be a quick fix, may not. Also you can type the codes in on the internet and find what they mean in case this person doesn't know what they mean.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

If you live in the US, take it to qany Auto Zone store and thy will read the codes off for you, I would suspect any right thinking competitor would do the same, check if you don't have one near by.
Hope this is of some help.

This is from the factory service manual of your car:
There is no onboard programming procedure for this vehicle. This vehicle requires special equipment be connected to the vehicle to program the keyless remote. Translation you need the dealer to do this.

EVAP system is a very COMPLEX system. There is not enough time or space here to adequately diagnose your problem. Components involved are Canister Close Valve, Charcoal Canister, Canister Filter, Purge Contro Solenoid Valve, Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor, EVAP tubes & hoses, Fuel Pump Gasket, fuel tank itself, check valves, Electrical Wiring to and from the ECM and components. Best solution: Pay diagnistic fee and have professionals diagnose problem. This way you'll know EXACTLY what the problem is and what's required to fix it (parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc.).
