Question about 2004 Chevrolet Malibu
It's leaking from the housing that the filter screws on to also on the housing there's a tube[part of the housing] that's threaded on the inside that hangs down just above the oil filter

The only thing that is left for you to do is to remove the stereo and then disassemble it and remove it yourself. A little daunting but needs to be done. Sounds like it went in wrong and then became jammed

Try pushing the trunk release and turning the key in the lock at the same time.
It sounds like the electric lock has not released for what ever reason.
You should hear the trunk release relay when you push the remote.

Standing at the front of the car looking at the intake manifold, its on the right hand side of the manifold about 6 inches down from the valve cover under a black cap with a 32mm top on it.
