Question about Cars & Trucks
The problem is with the passenger front door. I need to know how to remove the old actuator, so I can replace the little spring. I have had no luck in trying to use long needle nose pliers to get it back on because the little shield plate is in the way and I am not very steady with my hands. It looks like the window track would prevent removal.

SOURCE: passenger door window off track
I have had the same problem with my driver door. the white pieces actually connect thew metal bracket on the window to the metal pulley that moves the window up and down. the only way to fix this is to buy a new window regulator which shouldn't cost more than $55 online (www.am-autoparts.com). the windindow regulatort comes with these plastic pieces. This is how I solved my problem. Hope this helps!!!!!!:)

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

You can replace with any of "universal" actuator.
Its just a small motor inside power door lock, that works up and down according to the electricity that come into it. Good luck !
