A Isuzu NPR 4hf1 rotary pump timing marks set

Hi. If it has a rotary pump, the pump needs to be installed with the crank at 49 deg BTDC on the compression stroke cyl 1. Mark dot gear on pump with white paint. Line up dot gear on pump with line on pump bracket and install. Remove PRM sensor from bell housing and check if line on pump gear is still lined up with line on pump bracket.

Does a rotary motor have head gaskets?

Yes rotary motors have head gaskets. Blowing out the radiator? That sounds more like a radiator cap problem more than a blown head gasket. If there is no oil in water or vice versa and no copious smoke from the tail pipe then I'd check the cap and coolant level.

Air only blows out the bi-level, won't switch to defrost or floor

The air diverter door in the heater/AC case is not moving. The cause could be anything from a stuck door to a bad vacuum line, bad servo (door actuator), or the rotary switch on the control panel.

Where is the egr valve located?

I assume that this if the V6 3.8, if so it is on the left above the alternator. To further confirm its identity it sits between the exhaust supply pipe and the inlet manifold. Take care removing the egr valve and you will be able to reuse the egr gasket when refitting. Cleaning the egr valve is pretty easy using carb choke spray and plenty of cloth, let give the spray time to do the work. The exhaust supply pipe interior can be cleaned using an old frayed brake cable; fitting this cable it into the chuck of a drill makes it very effective rotary brush. Ensure you vacuum out the crud out before reassemble

Need to change the 12v supply by the Radio

The Ford Focus has a stereo problem where the display blinks on and off, with or without the ignition on. This is not a power problem.

This problem occurs when attempting to store a radio station when a blank RDS signal is being transmitted.
To restore your stereo:
  • Insert a CD, stereo will turn on in CD mode.
  • Press MENU button
  • Select DEFAULT RESET by turning the right rotary knob and press to select
  • Select YES by tuning the right rotary knob and press select
  • Press BACK button
  • Press the RDS button once, display will read RDS OFF
  • Stereo will now work properly
To prevent this problem from occurring again, be sure some text is in the top line of the display when setting a stereo station. Do not set a station when the station name is blank in display.
