but works on all cars with , 1 more step.
1: pull battery neg. lug, first, or boom, eat acid/go blind, etc.
2: remove evap canister front of the intake MAN.
3: remove alternator ,makes this super easy,
4: see brace under the intake MAN, remove that
5: unbolt starter. after removing its wires.

just 5 steps.
step 4 is UNIQUE to THIS CAR.

SOURCE: on a 1991 geo tracker trying to find location of fuel pump relay?

The fuel pump relays are mounted on an "L" bracket underneath the ECM. Both have something to do with the Fuel pump. Be careful not to get it confused with the horn relay it is in the same vicinity (under the dash on the drivers side).

SOURCE: reset check engine light on 1995 geo tracker

I had the very same problem with my 94 tracker and it turned out to be something simple. My check engine light had popped on after it had hit 100,000. I went through all of the suggestions that people had suggested (unplug battery......etc) and still to no avail. Searching the internet, I came across a website called suzukiforum.com and there, this guy was able to help me with my problem. It turned out to be a maintenance switch that kicks on every 50,000 miles. This switch is like a secret that the auto manufactures use to ploy owners of their cars to bring to the dealer and then rack up the dollars in unnecessary "repairs". The switch is located under the dash and can be hidden anywhere. From the assistance of the guy on the forum, he was able to send me photos of this damn switch and possible locations where it may be mounted. I found mine in about 5 minutes, where it was attached to the steering column. It's a tiny switch, that you slide up or down, depending on what position it is in upon finding it. If it's up, then slide it in the down position and visa versa. Once you do this, the check engine light will go off. Make sure you do not have the car running and you can even unhook one of the battery posts, just to make sure you don't hit anything while rooting around under the dash. Good luck!

Wiring diagram 93 geo tracker

all last post was error, under GEO Prism the car is really
a 93 tracker, not that is much more easy
make sure you know what engine you have first. 8valves or 16v
as every other page is different by those 2 factors. (engine type)
most are here. (to make car run and lamps work)
http://www.fixkick.com/schematics-run.html
yours is here.

page one here, may cover it.

http://www.fixkick.com/power-elect/95%20electrics/95powersistra1.pdf

the link is really just a large fuse. for A./C
did blow the main fuses. messing with battery or alternator or starter>?

on all cars ,before messing, pull the NEG battery lug first.
this prevents blowing out those big puppy fuses.

Need a diagram for a 1.6 motor for a 93 geo tracker for the starter and alternator

old post
is this an electrical question?
the starter has 3 wires.
the ground wire goes to the starter mount bolt.
the hot wire Plus got the big , starter solenoid lug.
the small push on conn, only goes 1 places, the solenoid.
ALT
the lat has 2 connections.
the big lug ring lug, to the starter big stud
then just plug in the rear connnector
that be it.
from the schematic view and way is here.

I have a 93 tracker and need to set timing

no, sorry.
you must add a jumper to the DLC connector.
this freezes the timing and you can now set it
to 8 btdc.

you need to figure out what motor you have.
http://carfix.stufftoread.com/IGN_timing/index.html

the full procedures are here.
