2002 escape stalls when turning windshield wipers.Like if wipers motor is not strong enough to make it work.

Wiper motors suffer this problem when the bushes on the shaft at the bottom of the wiper arms are dry an tighten on the shafts. If you remove the wiper arms and the dust cap under them you may be able to free up the shafts by spraying WD 40/ CRC on the shaft and let it run down into the bush as the wipers are working Other than that it is wipers out for the job.

Where is the cabin filter located on my 2006 Ford Escape? I use to have a kick *** AC, but lately it needs to be turned up to really work. Someone said that I may need a new cabin filter. Where is this...

The 2006 ord escape has two locations for a cabin air filter, they had a change up year modification

first and most popular location is under passenger side of the wiper cowl: To remove the cowl, you have to first pop the cap on the passenger side wiper arm and remove the nut usually a 13mm nut so you can remove the wiper arm, once arm is off you can remove the screws retiaining the plastic wiper cowl, once cowl is removed you will see air box on the left where usually jam up with leaves or dust etc..replacement is just removing out and placing new one in the place where the old one was

2nd location will be behind the glove box, you need to squeeze the sides of the glove box to allow it to open and swing down. Once glove box down and out of the way you will look directly back and see a cover retained with small 7mm screws, remove them and behind you will find you filter which slides in and out.

Good luck and any more questions feel free to ask

Thanks Jay
