Lincoln towncar codes B1318 Year 2000 - Cars & Trucks

SOURCE: REPLACE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY IN 2000 LINCOLN TOWNCAR

Open the hood and make sure the car and the lights are off.
Remove the plastic protective cover.There are 3 knobs,turn halfway and pull.Put aside and out of the way.
Remove the three pins that are holding the light assembly in place.These are flat rods with a little bend at the end.
Twist and un-plug the lights,now you can remove the whole lens.
The light bulbs can also be removed and replaced from this point.
Make sure all the bulbs are working before you put it back together.

Are you sure it's a code 52? I'm not seeing a 52 in the code index. Btw, code 12 is that the system passed it's automatic test. You could continue the chase to fix the air, but on a 20 year old car, it maybe a good idea to do an air suspension conversion on your Town Car and be done with it forever. Trouble codes
on my 86 lincoln towncar yhats a limo,i was told by a lincoln shop forman that that year doesnt tell you any thing about the condition of the car it has a tier 3 computer that was a experment model that was only used one year.you would be better off taking it to a shop with a good scope to check out your car.
