ok.....so when you get under you rodeo....look for a big pan....it should be black in color.......and at the very end of it,,you should see the plug..
but dont get near the tranny or you could end up getting the wrong plug....and you will have cherry tranny fluid all over the place.....

Hello and welcome to Fixya!
You may just need a maintenance check, like an oil change. Try it and observe how it goes. Try to remove the positive battery connector too, let it sit for atleast 5mins. then reconnect it. This can reset the car's computer and get rid of the check engine light.
