Check the battery with a volt meter-if it shows 12.5v its good-if not charge it overnight and check volts in the a m-strange that it had not defrosted-check the anti-freeze level-if no antifreeze it could have shut its self down-let me know what you find -Denny

Like you said, battery may be flat. You can check that with a multimeter.
Next check the alternator. Faulty alternator leads to uncharged battery.
