Sounds like you either low on power steering fluid or you need a new power steering belt. Otherwise, your power steering pump might be bad. Are you in the US? You can probably take it to an AutoZone or an Advance Auto and one of their guys would be able to give you a confirming diagnosis. Check the first two first.

SOURCE: There is a noise coming

I had this same problem and the dealer could not reproduce the noise when I would take it in to get looked at. (during the day when the temperature was warm) So I decided to leave it over night and they test drove it in the morning when the temperature was cold and they heard the noise. It ended up bing the steering rack.

I have a high pitch whistle and a roaring noise. Also sounds like my drive shaft is loosening up because of a vibration when i get to a certain speed. Once i get past that speed it is ok. This is a quad...

Drive shaft vibrations are usually associated with the balancing weights on the shaft falling off the shaft or loose mounts.
High pitch whistle and roaring sounds its best diagnosed by a technician who can put the vehicle on a lift and listed for the sounds in order to pin point the locations and determine the cause.

2004 ford freestar 4.2L engine...high pitched

this sounds odd but mine did this when i replaced the wipers. it seems the design of the wiper frame was making a whistle at higher speeds. the freestar wipers are exposed on the window cowl and not hidden so they endure the winds at high speed. it is worth a shot.

Have 93 Chevy G 30 Have a High pitch whine that changes with rpm

This could be anything from the pump in the transmission to the alternator bearings/bushings to the power steering pump. Could be an idler pulley bearing, but I doubt it.
Hint: If the noise is very high-pitched, check the alternator. If it is a lower, medium-high-pitch sound that changes some when you turn the wheels, check the power steering pump. If it is almost like a moan or a "Whooo" sound, that's the transmission pump.

High pitch whistling noise in engine compartment of 2005 envoy

There may be a small hole or cut in a vacum line or possibly just loose. Also make sure the air filter box and the big hose to it are secure and clamps etc are tight. Pulleys and belts can make a high pitch sound also.
