Hyundai accent 1996 can turbo be fit in 1.5 efi engine ?

Sure! As long as you ALSO swap wiring harnesses, computer systems, engine control components, all emissions parts and don't have to pass any emissions tests where you live. In the state that I live in (Missouri) A vehicle built after 1985 that is equipped with an engine other than one that is identical to the engine that the chassis was certified with will fail a SAFETY inspection. I would check ALL local laws before even thinking of attempting such a radical task.

Does the 89 lincoln requirer emissions testing?

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

Every vehicle is required for emissions testing. I strongly suggest that you have the car conditioned before proceeding. By doing so you'll surely pass it.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

I have a 89 toyota 4x4 pickup ,didnt pass deq, smog,,one mechanic said it has no compression in one cylinder but runs really good,is this expensive to fix,,is this why it doesnt pass smog test

I don't know the laws in your state, but here in Missouri you can get a waiver if the cost of repairs exceeds a certain amount. The amount is different depending on the year. The older the car, the less you are required to spend. You might want to check into that, you have a 20 year old car. I can't imagine you would be required to spend a lot of money on that old a car.

Whats legal and whats not legal in window tinting

It's not so much about where you live for the amount of tint possible, but the most tint allowed in other locations.
You may travel and may run into problems elsewhere with the level of tint.

Rear windows can be fully tinted.....right up to total blockage of light.
Front tint is another story.
You must be able to see the driver EASILY from a distance.
.......and the driver must be able to see out of the rear view side mirrors AT NIGHT.

1998 Foester Settering Rack Oil Leak

I found that there wasn't any problrm with the existing Steering, it was a leaking "oil union" near the steering column.
It would appear that the union had not been tightened on the assembly line.
The union appears to have loosened over time (93000klms) and was just finger tight.
I was going to have the Steering Rack replaced by a mechanic.
The question arises as to whether the mechanic would have noticed the above, and just retightened the union, or gone ahead and replaced the rack ?
