Rear defogger they called.. find the fuse box that normally is on the driver low side panel, around that area.

Rear defrost not working on 2004 Impala


Most GM cars and trucks use the fuse panel for safety with the rear defroster...Check your owners manual for the location of the fuse block...I think it is inside your glove box...Try the fuse first...if not the fuse...your options include replacing the glass inserted strips...(do not remove) with a rear shelf defroster blower motor... or an add on rear window defroster...Your auto parts stores should have both...Hope this helps.

the fuse is under the seat in a box on the drive side and there it a diagram for the fuse it is 10 amp

Where is the fuse for both the heater, and defroster.


Here's a link to your fuses.Usually one fuse for that,it should be in fuse box in car.

No power to rear defrost, but the windshield defrost works.


I recommend you go to an auto parts store and tell them that the fuse for the rear window defroster has blown and they will find the fuse and replace it for you.

If the light is not coming on, sounds like your not getting power,check the fuse.

Rear defroster doesn't work.


rear defrosters are an apllied film of semi metalic strips and if you get you windows tinted often the tint man accidentally nicks these strips cuasing the defroster to malfuction check for breaks in the srips

Only btm 1/2 of rear defrost works on 98 Aurora


hopefully this will help, there is a fuse box under the back seat the one closest to the battery, there you will find that there are 2 fuses for the rear defrost try checking those out
