SOURCE: when i hit a bump in the road with my chrysler

Check the lug nuts..
Could be a bad front end bushing or could be a bad ball joint.
Check for re-calls too..
Jack up the front end (be safe) leaving the pssngr tire hanging free.. Move tire left to right.. You should find out what is going on..

The clunking noise is now a grinding noise in the front driver side. I am told that it is a part attached to the steering box component.

Get it to a reputable suspension shop to have it checked out,if it was said a part on the steering then you don't want to risk losing steering when the worn parts break.Speculating it could be tie rods, sway bar links, ball joints, bushings etc etc everything that moves when you hit the bumps.

Rumble after hitting a small bump in the road

need a little more detail here.
Rumble from front? rear? left or right side?
And shake in the steering wheel?
How big a bump and how fast were you going?
Was the rumble instant after the bump?
Is it constantly making the noise or now and again?

When I turn the steering wheel or go over bumps at low speeds the truck makes a squeezing souund

The nice thing about Lincolns is they have a longer warranty than most cars. This could easily be covered under warranty if you call the dealer.

It can also be the air suspension trying to adjust for the bump or turn. Again, try to use your warranty. The air suspension has a diagnostic plug the dealership can use to diagnose a problem in minutes.

I would also say your power steering can make a noise when turning but that does not explain the noise from bumps.
