Question about 2006 Saab 9-3
Xenon low beams dim, halogen high beams work great. Known Saab problem with 9-3 low beams. Xenon system with ballasts, auto level etc. prone to problems. Is there a way to bypass wire from light switch on dash to low beam replaced with halogen.

IF THE BULBS ARE OK CHECK THE HEADLIGHT MODULE(IT LOOKS LIKE A RELAY, ORANGE CASE I THINK) TRY WIGGLING IT,IM PRETTY SURE THATS IT. THEY GO BAD ALOT ON SAABS. IT SHOULD BE IN THE ENGINE CONPARTMENT

Might as well check the orange headlight control unit first, as it is an extremely common issue, and will only take you 20 minutes. Here is a step by step tutorial with pictures to examine and repair it. The tutorial is from a 1995 900 but is fully applicable to your car.
