The cam shafts should be the same and as to the fly wheel and damper I take it that you mean the flexi-plate and torque converter. There may be a difference as to torque converter bolt pattern on the flexi-plate but if the gear box is the same I would think that it will bolt up ok. Talk to speed shops to get exactly what you want.

SOURCE: 2000 ford windstar heater blowing cool air

Hi, You may have an air lock in the system. Have you ever had the system flushed out? This might be the fix. Also the thermostat might need to be replaced. You didn't say if you hear the clicking noise. If you do hear the clicking noise when you adjust the tempture control then its back to the replacement of the blender motor box with broken gears.
Hope this helps Warren

SOURCE: 1984 s10 2.8 manual trans. flywheel causes engine to vibrate

no should be same engine. check your engine mounts and tranny mount. how bad a vibration? sometimes after installing engine the trans gets shifted around and if mount was worn it will allow it to hit crossmeber and vibrate.

Where are the fuel pumps on a 1982 ford f150

Well a 1982 model should have a carb, so there should be a mechanical fuel pump on the side of the block near the front.
Just follow the fuel line from the carb.
1985 was the first year for fuel injection on the 302 engine.

First thing to try would be different fuel. Use a fuel stabilizer and fill with good gas. see if that helps. Also, check the fuel pressure.

At the front of the engine near the vibration damper. There is a small bolt holding it in place and once removed, just slide it out and follow instructions with new one to install. Left side when facing engine from the front!

What all do you need to do to convert a 1992 ford 5.0 out of an f150 from fuel injection to a Carb.? I know that you need a carb, intake, and fuel pump. I'm putting this motor in my 1984 mustang it had a...

There are special electronic fuel pumps you can get for this kind of conversion that wont put to much fuel pressure in the carb and blow the bowls.
As long as the distributer is vacuum advance and for a 302 it should be able to work. The main difference will be the firing order on the truck engine may be different. So you have to make sure your #1 cylinder is at top dead center and route the post on the cap its pointing at to the #1 cylinder and go from there.
The intake and carb you have should also work.

Looking for a little more power for f250 have 302 4x4 4 speed granny.wondering what it would take to install small block 351

not too much work, the motor mounts-bell housing and crankshaft (for the flywheel off the 302)all should be the same.if the 351 had an automatic transmission, then you will have to add a pilot bearing to the end of the crank (center of crank where flywheel bolts on)..Also it depends on which oil pan is on the new engine--to follow the curve of the frame but should be the same as a 302....302 and 351 windsor engines are the same block except the intake manifold.Just a reminder, truck engines have a better cam for more torque. If the truck is fuel injected you will also have to change the computer which would be located drivers side left upper kick panel. The exhaust manifolds may be different, check them out before starting the procedure.
