Question about 1999 Saturn SL
At first you could tap shift shift selector and car would start now key wont turn.
Bad automatic trans shifter solenoid, located under the console between the seats.....quick fix while waiting for a new solenoid is simply unhook the lever from the automatic trans solenoid.

this tells me that you have either a bad connectin on the solenoid of the starter or you have a loose ground cable to the bell housing of trans mission,or you have a defective neutral safety switch......please rate
