Ensure that you set the timing on no 1 piston TDC compression stroke otherwise you will be 180 degrees out in timing

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

Intermittent start problem, what can cause this. No one can seem to find the problem.

Had same issue... Was a bad relay in the security anti theft system. Bang on module when trying to start should identify if that's it. Replacing module did the trick for me. It's a mechanic job as it requires reprogramming remotes

Wil not start right away

Jeeps from the early 90's that refuse to start right up are usually suffering from the 'delayed start check engine light problem.'
If the check engine light does NOT light up on the dash, at the times when the jeep refuses to start, then that is the problem and the jeep ecu needs to be repaired.

1993 form tempo will start great most of the time, intermittenly it will refuse to "hit a lick" and will not start, battery turnover is not the problem, crankin is great... it just refuses to...

i just had a similar problem with my sisters saturn.. it ended up being the crank sensor that intermiditly stop working and so the coils wouldent took a min to figure out cause it wouldent store a code for this problem..i think checking into that crank sensor may find the culprate
