Question about Cars & Trucks
Bad starter solenoid?. Should have un-fused 12V straight to starter large connection. Safely jack and support the vehicle where you can get to the starter. Make sure the vehicle is in park. Get a small piece of wire about 12 inches long, and briefly touch the solenoid connection and the starter connection, if the starter rolls. check for fault in lead to the solenoid straight through to ignition switch. Did you check to see if there is power to the glow plugs if not then that may be the problem and if there is power when you cycle the key not to start but for the plugs to warm up you may have a bad glow plugs.
