There may be corrosion on the terminals that make contact with the bulb. Some times just scraping the terminals will solve the problem.
Or the spring is not pushing the terminals close enough to the bulb.
Worth a try. Best of luck.I hope you already fixed it.

SOURCE: Right brake light out; tail light works fine

most rear tail lights and turn/stop lights are the same dual filiment bulb. it is possible for your tail light to work and your brake light not to and still have a bad bulb. I would check the bulb first, your brake light works on the left yes? this would mean that the fuse is fine

Can't find fuse for tail lights. Not in cluster by steering wheel, not in cluster under hood.

the rear tail lights, license plate bulbs, and the front park lights are all fed off the same fuse. I show fuse one in the dash fuse block (15 amp). If the front amber park lights are working its not a fuse.

Are you sure the bulbs are good? Have you checked the connections in the harness?

I have a 2001 Dakota that has an intermittent issue whereby the tail lights and the radio go out. All I do is stop the truck, shut it off and then restart it. Seems to reset them both...!

No power to tail lights or license plate light.

check the fuse with a test light on both sides of the fuse,
next would be the headlight switch.

96 dodge ram 2500 tail lights and instrument panel lights quit working at the same time all other lights work help please!!!

Check your tail light fuse, on the dodge ram the dash lights and tail lights use the same fuse so if the tail light fuse blows your dash lights will go out to alert you of no tail lights.

Remove the two screws from the holes in the tail light, then open the tail gate and there are two more on the inside of the bed, facing back towards the light assembly. Good luck dont forget to rate.
