P0134 codes

Bob;
A code P0134 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
  • Bad O2 (oxygen) sensor
  • Bad heater circuit in the O2 sensor
  • Wiring or connector to the sensor frayed / broken
  • Blown heater circuit fuse
  • Holes in the exhaust system
  • PCM failure
Possible Solutions The most common fix is to replace the oxygen sensor. But that doesn't rule out the possibility of:
  • Rusted exhaust pipe
  • Inspect wiring & connector(s) for problems
  • Excessive amperage blowing heater fuse (still requires replacement of sensor but also replacement of blown fuse)
  • Replace PCM (only as last resort after all other possibilities are covered.

Where is the bank 1 sensor 1 on a 2001 ford taurus?

Hello
Bank one is the engine cylinder bank near the engine firewall (see diagram). The bank one sensor one is the Oxygen sensor (O2) located in the exhaust pipe just of the engine cylinder bank at rear and before the Catalytic Converters.

2001 e-150 stumbles for 5 seconds when first started 4.9

I would investigate the O2 sensors. O2 sensors have a heater on them so that the computer gets a good signal when the car is not up to temperature. When they do not heat up quickly it causes the car to run rough until the car reaches operating temperature.

I got a 2001 ford f 150 off road and when i take off it spits and spudders and the gas milage has got worse wat could it be??? plugs, o2 sensors, cats

i would start with a good tune up
plugs, wires, cap, rotor. fuel filter . and clean your throttle body
a bad O2 sensor will not make it spit and sputter that is a misfire.
good luck
