Where can I find local rainfall amounts for this year?

The National Weather Service Website should be able to help you. If you go to their website ( and type in the zip code for a location in the upper left it will take you to the forecast page for that location. If you scroll to the bottom of that page and click on past weather information you can view the rainfall totals since January 1. Not sure if that is exactly what you need.

To see current rainfall totals on more of an hourly basis and not once a day when the above site updates check out in the METAR code for that station (if you don't know it it is in the station.txt file, link on the page). Type that in the box and then make sure you click the button for translated. That will tell you the hourly report for that weather station which, if there was rainfall, should say how much fell.

My terrano station wagon rear carpet keeps getting wet wheel arches& floor are solid would a dehumidifier help

Have you checked the tailgate weather strip? You must have a leak somewhere, and trying to fix with dehumidifier is not a good fix. Perhaps sit in rear and have assistant spray back with hose to look for leak (weather permitting of course!).

I have to crank my 98 ford ranger 3.0 V6 2-3 times before it will start, but runs great once it starts, I have replaced plugs, plug wires, air filter... any thoughts ???

Fuel filters should be replaced every 24,000 miles. Also, there is a strainer on the fuel filter that can become clogged, especially if you run the fuel low often or if it has ever been completely ran out.

I have a 2003 Cadillac cts and there is a message on the information center that says "msg tp" and I can't find anywhere what the tp stands for. I thought it was tire pressure but I checked the tire...

eon=enhanced other networks..means a stonger signal/ same station is being recieved.
ta/tp=traffic info from stations tuned into (if applicable)they send out traffic info like bad weather/jams,so you have a stored message.....
made me laugh though "tyre pressures on the radio"
(you hum it i'll play it..).
