Question about Kia Cars & Trucks
It is an active headrest wired in . I like the seat up vertical and it pushes my head forward very uncomfortable when driving
You may have to seek the assistance of an upholsterer to make a new head rest to suit you . The other answer is to bend the rest poles back a bit to move it away from the head but this has to be done by an experienced person as the steel will be hard to bend and keep the bars in line to fit the holes

The releases are located inside the seat back. This pic will give you a good idea of where to look for them. It's easier with 2 people, one pushing the releases and another lifting the head rest out. http://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums/download/file.php?id=1748&mode=view
